A study of the book of James

Personal Discrimination
(James 2:8-13)

Central Idea: Personal discrimination denies biblical doctrine.

Purpose: To challenge believers to practice social justice.
  1. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of love (James 2:8).
  2. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of sin (James 2:9-11).
  3. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of mercy (James 2:12-13).

Sadly, racial, ethnic, and economic discrimination has plagued the Christian church since the founding of our country. It is still going on today. My friends, discrimination is sin. It is sin because personal discrimination denies the doctrine of love, sin, and mercy.

In this episode we learn about three areas where personal discrimination denies God’s truth and how we can practice social justice today.
