Personal Discrimination

Central Idea: Personal discrimination denies biblical doctrine.
 
Purpose: To challenge believers to practice social justice.
  1. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of love (James 2:8).
  2. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of sin (James 2:9-11).
  3. Personal discrimination denies the doctrine of mercy (James 2:12-13).
Sadly, racial, ethnic, and economic discrimination has plagued the Christian church since the founding of our country. It is still going on today. My friends, discrimination is sin. It is sin because personal discrimination denies the doctrine of love, sin, and mercy.
In this episode we learn about three areas where personal discrimination denies God's truth and how we can practice social justice today.

    Are you a liver or a looker? The Christian faith must be more than show and tell. The Christian faith must be live and do. If we follow the prescription God gives us in the Bible, we must put the word of God into practice.

    Are you playing the blame game today? Am I? These are important questions to ask ourselves. We can talk all we want about the moral crisis in our society. We can blame social media or our cultural environment. But in the end, moral integrity is a deeply personal issue. My friends, the world desperately needs to see Christians living lives of moral integrity. We need to live what we preach. In this episode we will learn three key principles of integrity from the book of James.
