Mark Halfacre
Chairman of the Board and Chief Organizational Officer
 
Mark’s areas of focus include ministry vision, organizational structure, government compliance, and media strategy. He retired from Texas Instruments in 2012 after a 33-year career in the semiconductor industry, where he held a number of management roles in research and operations management. Mark and his wife Jana live in Maine and are members of Galilee Baptist Church, where he also serves as an elder. They have two adult daughters and three grandchildren and enjoy cruising the Maine coast on their boat Pegasus. Mark has a passion for outreach and worldwide missions and exploring how new technologies can be used to spread God’s Word.
David Christensen
President and Chief Executive Officer
 
The President leads the organization, provides the vision, and sets the corporate culture of The Rephidim Project through his writing, preaching, and teaching while serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization.
 
David retired in 2018 after 28 years as the preaching pastor at Galilee Baptist Church in Gorham, Maine, to devote himself to encouraging pastors, missionaries, and church leaders through Bible exposition and teaching the methods of expository preaching to the next generation of preachers. He also served at New England Bible College as a professor, Academic Dean, and Interim President, where he taught Homiletics, Bible, and Pastoral Theology. David is the author of 6 books and has taught seminars on preaching in Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, Panama, and Maine. He spent his childhood years in Pakistan, the son of missionary parents but moved to Maine as a teenager, where he met his wife, Janie. After their seminary years in Indiana, God led them back to northern New England in 1984, where David has served in the dual ministries of pastor and teacher for 30 years. They live in Maine and have two adult daughters.
Mark J. Crocco
Director of Ministries
 
The Director of Ministries gathers, inspires, and mobilizes pastors to fulfill The Rephidim Project vision by preaching in local churches and promoting the vision in conferences, workshops, and other pastoral gatherings.
 
Mark is the Owner and President of Integrity Leadership Development Inc. Mark spent fifteen years in pastoral ministry and has spent the last twenty years developing leadership in organizations. Mark is a highly sought-after leadership development expert, public speaker, and author. He oversees the Crocco Catalytic Leadership Institute, which exists to create leadership materials with the goal of developing leadership. Mark speaks at many leadership conferences throughout the country and often speaks at churches, bible conferences, and retreats. He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible and Grace Theological Seminary.
Russ Cotnoir
Director of Pastoral Resources
 
The Director of Pastoral Resources supports pastors through personal encouragement and public preaching while developing a variety of resources across all media platforms that will assist them to be more effective pastoral preachers.
 
After 34 years of ministry, Russ retired as the senior pastor at Fayette Baptist Church in Fayette, Maine. He was called to Fayette in 1988 during his junior year at New England Bible College and soon after received his BS degree (with a major in Bible). He is also the founder of First Light, a daily radio ministry aired on WBCI 105.9 FM, which has broadcast his sermons since 1996 and has become the longest running Maine based program since WBCI began reaching throughout central Maine and New England. Russ’s heartfelt passion is to communicate biblical truth in a relevant way in order to effect spiritual change through his pulpit and teaching ministry, podcasts, First Light radio messages as well as speaking engagements at churches and events, retreats, and various conferences. Russ and his wife Denise have four adult children: Joshua, Aaron, Sarah, and Matthew, and seven grandchildren: Emily, Abel, Connor, Ian, Lilah, Nora, and Levi.
Shirley Douglas
Administrative Assistant
 
Shirley spent 10 years running her own graphic design company before joining the team at the Rephidim Project. Her current roles vary from bookkeeping to marketing and include website management, digital marketing, database management, and other administrative functions. Shirley loves the Lord and has a great heart for missions, having gone to Panama for a short-term mission trip in 2015. Shirley and her husband Patrick have one adult daughter and live in Maine. They are members of Galilee Church, where they enjoy being part of the worship team.
Adrian Wells
Internet Technology Manager
 
Adrian provides information technology services and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors. He has worked in Information Technology for over 20 years.  Adrian and his wife live in Maine along with their two active sons and are members of Galilee Baptist Church.  He enjoys working with technology and looks forward to how God will use The Rephidim Project to His glory.
Tim Woodward
Chief Financial Officer
 
Tim is in the corporate world still, sniffing at retirement. He has spent his career overseeing manufacturing, in IT support, and for the last 15+ years in various financial roles. He is an active member of Christ the Redeemer PCA church in Portland, Maine. Tim also spent time on the board of the Greater Portland Christian School, again in financial roles. He, and his wife Connie, have four adult children, two who have families locally with fun grandchildren. They also enjoy spending time in Arizona, where a third daughter lives, and their son is active military, currently serving in Germany. Tim’s passions concern finance and Christian stewardship.
