Purpose: To challenge Christians with the importance of Scripture.
- Our attitude toward the Scriptures must be reverence (8:1-5).
- Our preparation for the Scriptures must be submission (8:6).
- Our use of the Scriptures must be expository (8:7-8).
- Our response to the Scriptures must be repentance (8:9).
- Our encouragement from the Scriptures leads to celebration (8:10-12).
