Central Idea: A gospel worth uniting for is a gospel worth fighting for.
Purpose: To challenge Christians to defend the faith with diligence.
 
  1. Fighting for the gospel begins with personal confrontation (2:1-2).
  2. Fighting for the gospel requires visible courage (2:3-5).
  3. Fighting for the gospel results in spiritual unity (2:6-10).
