Online Preaching Cohort for Pastors and Church Leaders
Grow Together in Faithful, Fruitful Preaching

The Online Preaching Cohort from The Rephidim Project is an online preaching training experience for pastors and church leaders who want to grow in faithful, effective, expository preaching. This pastor‑to‑pastor cohort provides sermon feedback, preaching coaching, and peer accountability—all within a trusted community and without leaving your ministry context.
Rooted in the biblical call to “practice these things… so that all may see your progress” (1 Timothy 4:15), this cohort helps pastors make visible, long‑term progress in preaching through structured evaluation, theological reflection, and mutual encouragement.
What Is the Online Preaching Cohort?
The Online Preaching Cohort is an online preaching program for pastors and an accelerated version of our in‑person preaching cohorts. It uses the same proven curriculum focused on expository preaching, sermon development, and pastoral growth, now accessible wherever you serve.
Over the course of eight months, participants meet once per month for focused, hands‑on work around preaching. Each cohort meeting lasts three hours and centers on:
- Sermon feedback and evaluation of a recorded sermon submitted by one cohort member
- Peer coaching for pastors grounded in Scripture and pastoral theology
- Guided discussion shaped by our shared preaching curriculum and required reading
This is not an online preaching course or lecture series. It is a working preaching cohort where pastors grow by practicing, reflecting, and sharpening one another through real sermons preached in real ministry contexts.
Why Pastors Join This Online Preaching Cohort
Many pastors search for preaching help, sermon feedback, or preaching coaching for pastors because preaching can be isolating work. The Online Preaching Cohort exists to meet that need by offering:
Preaching Coaching for Pastors
Receive thoughtful, pastor‑to‑pastor coaching that helps you strengthen clarity, faithfulness to the text, and Christ‑centered application.
Meaningful Sermon Feedback
Unlike generic sermon advice, feedback in this cohort comes from fellow pastors who understand the weight, responsibility, and joy of weekly preaching.
Long‑Term Growth in Expository Preaching
An eight‑month structure allows time for habits to form, blind spots to surface, and genuine progress in preaching to take shape.
Online and Ministry‑Friendly
All sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams, making this preaching cohort accessible to pastors regardless of location.
